Ahead of the August 8 Freedom Sale, Flipkart has revealed major discounts on the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 15, with additional bank offers and cashback that could significantly lower prices.
As the Independence Day shopping season approaches, Flipkart has officially announced its much-awaited Freedom Sale 2026, giving smartphone buyers an early look at some of the biggest deals expected during the event. Among the standout offers are attractive discounts on Apple‘s premium iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, along with price cuts on older iPhone models.
The sale is scheduled to begin on August 8, while Flipkart Plus and Flipkart Black members will receive exclusive early access from August 7.
iPhone 17 Pro to Receive Benefits Worth Up to ₹17,000
The biggest attraction of this year’s Freedom Sale is the iPhone 17 Pro. Originally launched at ₹1,34,900, the premium smartphone will be available at a sale price of ₹1,26,900, offering a direct ₹8,000 discount without requiring any bank offer.
Customers paying with eligible SBI Credit Cards or the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card can further reduce the price through an instant ₹5,000 bank discount, bringing the effective price down to ₹1,21,900.

Additionally, buyers eligible for 5 percent cashback can save approximately ₹4,000 more, taking the total benefit to nearly ₹17,000, according to Flipkart’s promotional sale page.
Alternative Payment Offers Also Available
Flipkart is also extending another set of offers for customers using selected bank cards.
Under this option, the iPhone 17 Pro remains priced at ₹1,26,900, while eligible SBI, ICICI Bank, and Axis Bank credit card holders can receive an additional ₹6,000 instant discount.
Customers opting for EMI transactions may also receive benefits worth up to ₹4,000, making the overall deal even more attractive depending on the chosen payment method.
iPhone 17 Pro Max Gets Similar Discounts
The premium iPhone 17 Pro Max, which debuted at ₹1,49,900, will also receive a flat ₹8,000 price cut, bringing its sale price to ₹1,41,900.
With eligible bank discounts and cashback offers, the effective price can drop to around ₹1,32,900, making Apple’s top-end flagship considerably more affordable during the sale period.
More Affordable iPhones Also Get Price Cuts
The Freedom Sale isn’t just focused on flagship models.
Flipkart has also announced discounted pricing for several other popular iPhones:
- iPhone 15 will be available at an effective price of ₹55,900, compared to its current retail price of ₹59,900.
- iPhone 16 Plus will be offered for an effective ₹75,900, down from ₹79,900.
These offers are expected to appeal to buyers looking for premium Apple devices without opting for the latest Pro models.
More Deals Could Be Announced Soon
While Flipkart has already unveiled discounts on select devices, offers for the iPhone 17, iPhone 17e, iPhone 16, and iPhone 13 are yet to be officially revealed.
Earlier promotional teasers hinted that the standard iPhone 17 could be available for under ₹80,000, suggesting that additional discounts may be announced closer to the start of the Freedom Sale.
As with previous major sale events, some of the best prices may only be available for a limited time or in limited quantities. Buyers planning to upgrade their smartphones may benefit from checking the sale as soon as it goes live.
