Samsung Galaxy Glasses leak sparks buzz: AI Features, Notification reading & ‘Find My Glasses’ Revealed Ahead of Launch
A leaked companion app has seemingly confirmed major features of Samsung Galaxy Glasses, hinting that the official launch could be closer than expected.
Samsung’s long-rumoured Samsung Galaxy Glasses may finally be nearing launch, and a fresh leak has now given tech enthusiasts their clearest look yet at what to expect.
For months, speculation around Samsung’s smart glasses project has been building. Now, a leaked companion app has surfaced online, offering strong clues about the device’s features, software, and ecosystem integration.
According to reports, the app spotted and explored by tech outlet SammyGuru appears to act as the main control centre for the Galaxy Glasses. From pairing the device with a smartphone to managing settings and software updates, the app seems designed to be the central hub for the wearable.
The setup process reportedly walks users through putting the glasses into pairing mode and connecting them to their phone.
One of the most interesting details from the leak is the app’s main dashboard, which shows the connected glasses along with what looks like a battery percentage indicator something users would expect from a modern wearable.
But that’s just the beginning.
The app reportedly includes a feature to automatically import photos and videos captured through the glasses directly to the user’s phone, hinting at built-in camera functionality.

Another standout feature is “Read notifications aloud,” suggesting the glasses could verbally relay incoming messages and alerts, reducing the need to constantly check a smartphone.
The leaked menu also points to several advanced tools, including:

- Accessibility options
- Advanced settings
- Find My Glasses
The Find My Glasses feature appears to work similarly to smartphone tracking systems, helping users locate a misplaced device.
On the software front, Samsung’s smart glasses are expected to run One UI XR, the same platform powering the company’s upcoming Samsung Galaxy XR Headset.
This platform is built on Android XR, a collaborative project between Samsung, Google, and Qualcomm.
The leak also suggests Samsung is aiming for deep integration across its wearable ecosystem.
A dedicated Galaxy Glasses Controller app is reportedly being developed for Samsung Galaxy Watch, allowing users to control the glasses directly from their wrist.
Even more interestingly, there are hints that the Samsung Galaxy Ring could support gesture controls for the glasses, potentially enabling hands-free navigation.
As for the official reveal, Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked is scheduled for July 22 in London.
While the company may offer another teaser there, industry insiders believe the full launch of the Galaxy Glasses is likely planned for later this fall.
If the leaks are accurate, Samsung may be preparing to take on the next big frontier in wearable tech—and smart glasses could be its boldest move yet.
