Chaudhary went a step further by saying that personalities like Kohli are essential for the game’s appeal.

According to him, cricket thrives on emotion, competitiveness and visible passion, and players who wear their hearts on their sleeves make the sport more engaging for spectators across the world.

He remarked that if cricketers stopped expressing themselves on the field, the game would lose much of its excitement and become far less entertaining.
