‘I Auditioned for 15 Years’: Raghav Juyal Reveals How Shah Rukh Khan’s Journey Inspired Him to Keep Going

Actor and dancer Raghav Juyal has opened up about his inspiring journey in the entertainment industry, revealing that he spent nearly 15 years auditioning before reaching a stage where he could confidently choose the projects he truly believed in.

While promoting his upcoming film Bhai Tera Star Hai, Juyal reflected on the highs and lows of his career, crediting his perseverance and authenticity for helping him connect with audiences across the country.

How Shah Rukh Khan Became His Motivation

Speaking about what kept him motivated during difficult years, Raghav pointed to Shah Rukh Khan’s extraordinary rise in Bollywood.

He said audiences don’t just admire successful stars they admire the struggles, failures and determination that shape their journeys. According to Juyal, people feel emotionally connected when they witness an artist overcome challenges and rebuild after setbacks.

Raghav believes that his own career has followed a similar path, with fans supporting him because they have seen every stage of his journey from dance competitions to television hosting and now acting.

Raghav admitted that the success of his action thriller Kill marked a turning point in his acting career.

After years of constantly auditioning, he now has the opportunity to carefully select stories that match his artistic vision.

His upcoming projects reflect that philosophy, including Paradise, where he will share screen space with Telugu star Nani, alongside other films that offer distinctly different characters.

Why Dehradun Keeps Him Grounded

Despite growing recognition, Raghav continues to stay closely connected to his hometown of Dehradun.

He believes success is not measured by wealth alone but by staying true to one’s roots and values.

Growing up in the mountains, he said, helped him develop discipline, resilience and physical endurance. The actor revealed that he can comfortably handle demanding shooting schedules before heading straight out for trekking, something he credits to his upbringing.

‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’ Set For Release

Raghav Juyal will next be seen in Bhai Tera Star Hai, which features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Kapoor, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Niharika N, and several other actors.

The film recently unveiled Aankhon Se Tune 2.0, a recreated version of the iconic song from Ghulam. The new track has been composed by Lijo George and sung by Dev Negi and Palak Muchhal, paying tribute to the original hit performed by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik.

Directed by Vivek B. Agrawal and written by Sudipto Sarkar, Bhai Tera Star Hai is scheduled to release in theatres on July 30.
