Kriti Sanon hits massive 1200 Crore milestone! But is cocktail 2 the real Game-Changer?

Mumbai: Actress Kriti Sanon has quietly achieved a major milestone at the worldwide box office, crossing the impressive Rs 1200 crore mark in the post-COVID era. And while her latest film Cocktail 2 may not have become a blockbuster, its contribution has proved crucial in pushing her over the landmark figure.

The film, which has been generating significant buzz since release, has collected around Rs 151.33 crore globally in just 13 days, making it one of Kriti’s strongest post-pandemic performers.

For the actress, this milestone is more than just numbers—it reflects her resilience through a mixed box-office journey over the last few years.

Kriti’s post-pandemic theatrical run started on an underwhelming note with Bachchhan Paandey, which collected Rs 73.29 crore worldwide, followed by Bhediya at Rs 91.19 crore.

Her next release, Shehzada, struggled at the box office with Rs 48.35 crore, while the highly debated Adipurush managed a much larger Rs 390.01 crore despite criticism.

The streak of inconsistency continued with Ganapath, which ended as a commercial disappointment.

However, Kriti bounced back strongly with Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which marked her first post-pandemic box-office success by earning Rs 140.41 crore worldwide.

That momentum continued with Crew, which added Rs 161.2 crore, followed by Tere Ishk Mein, reportedly earning Rs 164 crore.

With Cocktail 2 now adding another Rs 151 crore+, Kriti’s total post-COVID global box office tally has reached an estimated Rs 1232.9 crore gross.

Industry experts believe this milestone cements Kriti Sanon’s position among Bollywood’s most bankable leading actresses of the current generation.

However, the road ahead for Cocktail 2 looks challenging.

The arrival of Welcome to the Jungle has already slowed its momentum, and with Alpha hitting cinemas, screen count and collections are expected to take another hit.

While the film may still inch closer to the Rs 1250 crore cumulative milestone for Kriti, analysts believe its major contribution has already been made.

For Kriti Sanon, though, this achievement is less about one single film and more about proving her consistency in an industry where every Friday can change everything.
