Jr NTR Breaks Silence on Political Rumours… Team Issues Final Clarification Over ‘RAW NTR’ Claims

Speculation surrounding Jr NTR’s possible return to politics has been put to rest after the actor’s office issued a strong clarification distancing him from an organisation known as RAW NTR.

The clarification comes after social media was flooded with claims suggesting that the Devara star would make a major political announcement during an event scheduled in Tirupati on July 18.

Office denies links with RAW NTR

In an official statement, Jr NTR’s team categorically denied any association with RAW NTR, stating that neither the actor nor his office has any connection with the organisation or its activities.

The statement emphasised that RAW NTR is not authorised to represent the actor or communicate on his behalf in any manner.

According to the clarification, any charitable initiative, public welfare programme, or official communication involving Jr NTR will only be announced through the actor himself or his authorised team.

The office also urged fans and the public not to treat information circulated by unauthorised individuals or organisations as authentic.

Calling it their “final communication” on the matter, the team expressed hope that the clarification would put an end to the ongoing rumours.

Tirupati event is a social initiative

The actor’s representatives also clarified that the upcoming programme in Tirupati has no political agenda.

According to the statement, the event is being organised solely as part of the #OoruVaada social initiative and should not be linked to any political developments.

The clarification comes after online speculation suggested the gathering could mark Jr NTR’s re-entry into active politics.

Why the rumours gained traction

Political speculation around Jr NTR frequently resurfaces because of his family’s deep roots in Andhra Pradesh politics.

He is the grandson of legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao (NTR), who founded the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1982.

His father, Nandamuri Harikrishna, was also associated with the party and served as a Rajya Sabha member, while his uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna is a senior TDP leader and a three-time MLA.

The actor also shares family ties with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, contributing to continued public interest in his political future.

Focus remains on films

For now, however, Jr NTR’s office has made it clear that the actor’s name should not be linked with any political organisation or unofficial campaign.

With the clarification issued, the focus is expected to return to his upcoming film projects rather than speculation about a political comeback.
