Jr NTR Will Enter Politics, But Not Before 2030, Claims Astrologer Venu Swamy: ‘He Could Become CM…’

Hyderabad: Telugu superstar Jr NTR has once again found himself at the centre of political speculation, but this time the prediction comes from astrologer Venu Swamy.

According to Venu Swamy, Jr NTR will eventually enter politics, although he believes the actor should stay away from active politics until 2030. His remarks have attracted attention because of Jr NTR’s family connection with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the political legacy of his grandfather, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao.

Venu Swamy has previously made similar predictions about Jr NTR’s political prospects. In earlier comments, he claimed that the actor has a strong political horoscope and could rise to the position of Chief Minister if he enters politics.

What did Venu Swamy say about Jr NTR?

In his latest remarks, Venu Swamy reiterated that Jr NTR’s political entry is possible, but not immediately. He has claimed that he personally advised the actor and his mother against entering politics before 2030.

The astrologer has also previously linked Jr NTR’s horoscope with political success, referring to his Makha Nakshatra and comparing it with the horoscope of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa.

These statements, however, are astrological predictions and not a confirmation from Jr NTR about his political plans.

Jr NTR’s political plans remain a subject of speculation

The latest prediction comes at a time when rumours about Jr NTR’s political entry have repeatedly surfaced.

In July 2026, speculation intensified after an event associated with Jr NTR’s fans was widely interpreted on social media as a possible announcement about his political future. His team later clarified that the “Ooru Vaada” initiative was a social-service programme and had no connection with a political entry.

Reports also noted that Jr NTR’s team sought to put an end to the speculation, with the actor indicating that his focus remained on his film career.

For now, there is therefore no confirmed announcement from Jr NTR that he plans to join active politics.

Venu Swamy also comments on Pawan Kalyan

Venu Swamy did not restrict his latest political predictions to Jr NTR. He also spoke about Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, describing him as a strong political figure and making predictions about his future political phase.

In a July 2026 interview, Venu Swamy went further and described Pawan Kalyan as a “perfect politician”, while predicting that Jr NTR could become a future Chief Minister.

His latest comments have consequently triggered discussion among fans of both actors, particularly because Pawan Kalyan and Jr NTR occupy very different positions in Andhra Pradesh’s political conversation.
