Mumbai: Long before becoming one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, Hrithik Roshan gave his parents a frightening scare that they would never forget. The actor recently recalled a childhood incident when he mysteriously disappeared after school, prompting his family to search desperately and even contact the police.

The amusing yet emotional story was shared during an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, where Hrithik was joined by his father, veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan.

A Frantic Search Begins

Recounting the incident, Rakesh Roshan revealed that the family returned home expecting to find young Hrithik after school. However, despite searching every corner of the house, there was no sign of him.

As hours passed, concern quickly turned into panic.

According to Rakesh, the family checked every room, including their locked bedroom. Since they had the only keys, they believed there was no possibility that Hrithik could be inside. After nearly three hours of searching, they eventually informed the police about the missing child.

Unknown to everyone, little Hrithik had quietly climbed into his parents’ locked bedroom through a small window.

His mission was simple—he wanted to watch a Batman animated film on VHS that was kept inside the room.

After putting on the cassette, Hrithik became so engrossed in the movie that he eventually fell asleep, completely unaware of the chaos unfolding outside.

When Hrithik finally woke up, he noticed his mother, Pinkie Roshan, walking outside the window in tears.

Confused by the situation, he couldn’t understand why she was crying until she suddenly spotted him inside the room.

The moment instantly ended hours of fear and anxiety for the family, who were overwhelmed with relief after finally finding him safe.

Hrithik shared that instead of being punished for the incident, his parents simply hugged him tightly.

After spending hours fearing the worst, they were just grateful that their son was safe and unharmed.
