‘You Can’t Say No to Shah Rukh Khan’: Arshad Warsi reveals why he instantly agreed to join King

Arshad Warsi has revealed the heartfelt reason behind his decision to join Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated action drama King, saying that turning down the superstar was never an option.

Speaking during the promotions of Dhamaal 4, Warsi opened up about his long-standing relationship with the Khan family and explained why he immediately agreed to be a part of one of Bollywood’s biggest upcoming releases.

‘You Cannot Say No to Shah Rukh Khan’

In a conversation with Mashable India, alongside co-star Jaaved Jaaferi, Arshad Warsi was asked what convinced him to sign King.

Without hesitation, the actor replied:“You cannot say no to Shah Rukh Khan.”

Warsi explained that the offer became even more personal when Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh’s son, reached out to him directly.

Recalling the conversation, the actor said he jokingly asked Aryan what role he wanted him to play before immediately agreeing to the project.

According to Warsi, his decision was driven less by professional considerations and more by the affection he has for the Khan family.

A Bond Beyond Films

Arshad also spoke about working with Aryan Khan on the upcoming Netflix series The Ba*ds of Bollywood**, which marks Aryan’s directorial debut.

The actor revealed that Aryan had begun narrating the project to him, but he stopped him midway.

Instead, Warsi told him there was no need to explain the story.

He said he was ready to do whatever was required simply because of his respect and love for Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan, and their family.

The actor described the relationship as one built on genuine affection rather than professional obligations.

Arshad Warsi is currently enjoying one of the busiest phases of his career.

He was recently seen in the comedy entertainer Welcome to the Jungle and also featured in filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s first web series, Pritam and Pedro.
The actor is now preparing for the release of Dhamaal 4, the latest installment in the popular comedy franchise that has entertained audiences for years.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the film will introduce Suhana Khan in her theatrical debut, marking a significant milestone in her acting career.
