Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh have added another milestone to their action thriller Alpha, as the film has officially entered the ₹100 crore worldwide club on its 20th day in theatres.
Despite receiving mixed reactions from critics and audiences, the YRF Spy Universe film has maintained a steady run at the box office, emerging as one of the biggest Indian releases of 2026.
Directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra, Alpha also holds the distinction of being the first female-led film in the popular spy franchise.
Worldwide Collection Crosses ₹100 Crore
According to figures released by the makers, Alpha has earned ₹100.16 crore worldwide.
The film has collected ₹71.12 crore gross in the domestic market, translating to a net India collection of ₹58.77 crore. Overseas territories have contributed ₹29.04 crore, helping the film cross the prestigious ₹100 crore milestone.
Made on an estimated budget of ₹100 crore, the action thriller has now recovered a significant portion of its production cost while continuing its theatrical journey.
Among the Biggest Indian Hits of 2026
With its latest box office achievement, Alpha has become the eighth highest-grossing Indian film worldwide in 2026, overtaking Main Wapas Aaunga.

The film now joins a list of the year’s biggest commercial successes, led by Dhurandhar 2, which remains the highest-grossing Indian film of 2026. Other major performers include Border 2, Bhoot Bangla, Welcome to the Jungle, Dhamaal 4, Cocktail 2, and O Romeo.
The achievement is particularly notable given the intense competition at the box office throughout the year.
Star-Studded Spy Thriller
Alongside Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh, Alpha features Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in important roles.

The film blends espionage, action and emotional drama, marking a significant expansion of the YRF Spy Universe, which has previously featured blockbuster franchises led by male protagonists.
