The devotional drama Hanuman Ansh has collected approximately ₹11.98 crore net after completing 21 days in Indian cinemas.

In an industry where opening-day numbers often determine a film’s fate, Hanuman Ansh has quietly written a different story. The Hindi devotional drama, which began its theatrical journey with only ₹10 lakh, witnessed a surprising turnaround during its third week.

Released in cinemas on August 7, 2026, the film has completed 21 days at the box office. According to estimates published by industry tracker Sacnilk, its total India net collection now stands at approximately ₹11.98 crore, while its India gross has reached around ₹14.06 crore.

What makes the performance particularly noteworthy is that the film has maintained its momentum despite the arrival of Yash’s Toxic, one of the biggest theatrical releases of the year.

Hanuman Ansh began with just ₹10 lakh

Hanuman Ansh had an extremely modest start, collecting only ₹10 lakh on its opening day. It showed gradual improvement over the weekend, earning approximately ₹20 lakh on Saturday and ₹30 lakh on Sunday.

The film ended its first week with a net collection of around ₹1.08 crore.

Instead of building immediately on that momentum, its earnings slowed sharply during the second week. The movie collected only ₹40 lakh between its eighth and fourteenth days, seemingly placing it on course for an early end to its theatrical journey.

However, the picture changed dramatically during the third weekend.

Day 17 delivers an unexpected turnaround

After collecting around ₹15 lakh on its third Friday, Hanuman Ansh jumped to approximately ₹85 lakh on Saturday. It then recorded its biggest single-day collection on the third Sunday, earning an estimated ₹2.20 crore.

The sudden surge on Day 17 gave the film a fresh lease of life and brought it back into the box-office conversation.

Its strong run continued over the following weekdays. On Day 18, the film collected approximately ₹1.25 crore, followed by ₹2.35 crore on Day 19 and ₹1.50 crore on Day 20.

On its 21st day, the movie added an estimated ₹1.90 crore, taking its cumulative India net earnings to around ₹11.98 crore. Sacnilk

Film holds steady despite ‘Toxic’ release

The arrival of Toxic was expected to affect smaller films by reducing their show count and audience share. However, Hanuman Ansh continued to attract cinemagoers, particularly audiences interested in spiritual and devotional stories.

Rather than being completely overshadowed by the larger release, the film delivered some of its strongest numbers during the same period. Its performance highlights how positive word of mouth and a clearly defined target audience can sometimes help a smaller production survive alongside a major star-driven movie.

While Toxic dominates the wider commercial market, Hanuman Ansh appears to have found its own space among family and spiritually inclined viewers.

What is ‘Hanuman Ansh’ about?

Hanuman Ansh is a 2026 Hindi devotional drama inspired by the life and spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly remembered as Maharaj-ji.

From an opening of merely ₹10 lakh to daily collections running into crores during its third week, Hanuman Ansh has emerged as one of the season’s most unexpected box-office stories. Its next challenge will be maintaining enough screens and audience interest to continue this remarkable late surge.
