US President Donald Trump shared 67 Truth Social posts within just over two hours after his July 4 America 250 celebration faced disruptions in Washington, D.C.

US President Donald Trump went on an extraordinary social media blitz on Sunday, publishing 67 posts in just over two hours on Truth Social, a day after his America 250 Fourth of July celebration in Washington, D.C., was marred by severe weather, crowd disruptions and criticism from supporters.

The rapid stream of posts came after an event that was intended to celebrate America’s upcoming 250th anniversary instead faced logistical challenges and frustrated attendees.

Trump’s Posting Spree

According to reports, Trump shared 67 posts between 11:12 a.m. and 1:14 p.m., averaging nearly one post every two minutes.

His posts covered a wide range of topics, including criticism of political opponents, commentary on legal matters, and praise for his administration’s initiatives.

Among the subjects he highlighted were:

  • A healthcare fraud crackdown.
  • His popularity on TikTok.
  • A banner comparing him to George Washington.
  • The condition of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which he described as being “crystal clear.”
  • Criticism of US District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan, who recently blocked part of his administration’s voter eligibility proposal.

The posting spree quickly attracted attention across social media due to its volume and timing.

Weather Disrupts America 250 Celebration

The online activity followed a difficult evening during Trump’s July 4 celebration at the National Mall.

Around 7:15 p.m., the National Park Service temporarily halted the event after severe weather prompted officials to ask attendees to seek shelter.

Many supporters had reportedly waited in long queues for several hours before being evacuated from the venue.

When the programme resumed later, several attendees claimed they were unable to re-enter despite already having passed security checks earlier in the day.

Supporters Voice Frustration

Videos circulating online showed some attendees expressing anger over the arrangements.

According to reports, members of the crowd complained about the lengthy wait and confusion surrounding re-entry.

MAGA supporter and political commentator Emily Miller also said she remained outside the venue after the gates were closed again when the event resumed.

The crowd management issues became one of the major talking points following the celebration.

Fireworks Display Goes Ahead

Despite the delays, the event concluded with a large fireworks display.

Before the show, Trump urged supporters on Truth Social to remain patient and enjoy the evening despite the weather interruptions.

After the event, he praised the fireworks display, describing it as the “best ever.”

However, reports also noted that the fireworks contributed to a Code Red air quality alert in Washington, D.C., as pollution levels increased after the display.

White House Yet to Respond

The White House had not issued an official response regarding the criticism surrounding the event or Trump’s subsequent social media activity at the time of publication.

The incident has once again drawn attention to Trump’s active use of Truth Social, where he frequently shares updates, political commentary and reactions to major events.
