CJP Launches ‘Kya Bolti Public’ Campaign: Abhijeet Dipke Puts Education Costs at Centre Stage, Says ‘Democracy Needs Accountability…’
The Cockroach Janta Party begins a nationwide outreach programme with a focus on affordable education, institutional accountability, and direct public engagement across India.
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has kicked off a nationwide public outreach campaign titled ‘Kya Bolti Public’, with founder Abhijeet Dipke announcing that the initiative aims to connect directly with citizens and understand the issues they believe deserve urgent attention.
Launching the campaign on Thursday, Dipke said the outreach programme would not be about political expansion but about listening to the concerns of ordinary people. According to him, the first major issue the campaign will address is the rising cost of education, which he believes has placed quality learning beyond the reach of millions of Indian families.
Education Affordability Becomes CJP’s First Focus
During the launch, Abhijeet Dipke expressed concern over the growing financial burden on parents, claiming that education has become increasingly expensive from the primary school level itself.
He argued that many private schools now charge annual fees ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakh for early classes, often excluding additional admission donations and other charges. He also highlighted the increasing expenses associated with higher education and private coaching institutes, saying these costs are forcing many middle-class and lower-income families into financial stress.
According to Dipke, the campaign will advocate for reforms that make quality education more affordable and accessible to students across the country.

Speaking about education policy, Dipke invoked the vision of Dr BR Ambedkar, saying education was meant to be a fundamental right rather than a commercial opportunity.
He argued that education should empower citizens and create equal opportunities instead of becoming a business driven by rising fees and financial barriers.
The CJP said it plans to engage with students, parents, teachers and education stakeholders during the campaign to better understand the challenges faced at the grassroots level.

Raises Questions on Institutional Accountability
Apart from education, Abhijeet Dipke also voiced concerns over what he described as weakening institutional accountability.
Speaking to the media, he claimed that democratic institutions must remain transparent and accountable to maintain public confidence. He further alleged that electoral accountability needs greater scrutiny, calling for reforms to strengthen trust in the democratic process.
The remarks reflected the party’s broader message that governance should remain answerable to citizens and that public institutions must function with transparency.
A Nationwide Public Outreach Initiative

The ‘Kya Bolti Public’ campaign marks the beginning of CJP’s nationwide engagement programme, under which party representatives plan to travel across different regions to interact directly with citizens.
According to the party, future phases of the campaign will include discussions on various public issues beyond education, with feedback collected from people expected to shape the issues the organisation raises in the coming months.
By placing education affordability at the forefront, CJP hopes to build conversations around policies that directly affect households while encouraging greater public participation in civic discourse.
