Annu Kapoor says Amitabh Bachchan’s extraordinary 57-year career is an unmatched milestone that future generations may find impossible to surpass.

Veteran actor Annu Kapoor has paid a heartfelt tribute to Amitabh Bachchan, describing the Bollywood icon’s extraordinary career as a benchmark that may never be surpassed. Reflecting on the megastar’s remarkable journey, Kapoor said no actor is likely to match Bachchan’s longevity and sustained success in Indian cinema.

Speaking in a recent interaction with ANI, Kapoor recalled how Amitabh Bachchan arrived in Mumbai in 1969 with dreams of making it big in films. More than five decades later, the actor continues to remain one of the busiest and most respected names in the entertainment industry.

According to Kapoor, Bachchan’s career, spanning 57 years, is an achievement that stands apart from everyone else. He noted that countless aspiring actors come to Mumbai every year hoping to achieve success, but very few manage to build a legacy of such endurance.

Kapoor also shared that Amitabh Bachchan was originally named Inquilab by his parents before eventually being given the name by which the world now knows him.

The veteran actor compared Bachchan’s remarkable longevity with that of legendary playback singers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle, saying they were among the few artists whose careers reached similar heights of consistency and influence over several decades.

Expressing his admiration, Kapoor said he does not currently see anyone capable of matching Bachchan’s extraordinary record in the years ahead. He also wished the megastar good health and a long life, adding that he always prays for the well-being of everyone.
