Alpha Reveals Sharvari's Character: Sita, Not Ruhi | YRF Spy Universe Twist
Sharvari's mysterious role in Alpha is finally revealed as Sita, not Ruhi, introducing a major twin-sister twist to the expanding YRF Spy Universe.

The mystery surrounding Sharvari’s character in Alpha has finally been solved, and the reveal is far from what fans had predicted. For months, speculation suggested that the actress would portray Ruhi, the much-discussed protégé of Hrithik Roshan’s iconic spy Kabir Dhaliwal. However, the film takes a completely different route, introducing a fresh storyline that expands the YRF Spy Universe in an unexpected way.

With Alpha, the franchise welcomes Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in its first female-led action film, while also introducing new characters that are expected to play a major role in future installments.

The Truth Behind Sharvari’s Character

In the film, Sharvari plays Sita, a character whose life is shaped by tragedy, deception, and years of ruthless training.

The story begins after the 1999 Kargil War, when Colonel Fateh Singh Lakhawat (played by Bobby Deol) secretly develops the Alpha Serum, an experimental formula intended to create an army of enhanced soldiers. Although the early trials appear successful, the serum ultimately proves fatal, with test subjects dying from organ failure.

The experiment also has devastating consequences for the family of R&AW Chief Vikrant Kaul (played by Anil Kapoor). His wife, Janaki, dies during childbirth after being affected by the serum.

Believing that his newborn child did not survive, Vikrant is unaware that Fateh kidnaps the baby girl and raises her as Sita, training her to become a deadly assassin loyal to his mission.

A Surprise Twin Sister Reveal

As the story unfolds, Sita discovers Fateh’s true intentions. She learns that he plans to use her unique biology to perfect the Alpha Serum and create unstoppable super soldiers.

With help from Dr. Varghese (played by Dibyendu Bhattacharya), Sita uncovers another shocking truth.

Unknown to Vikrant, Janaki had given birth to twin daughters.

While Fateh abducted one child, Dr. Varghese secretly rescued the other twin to protect her. The second daughter was named Durga, and she grows up separately from her sister.

The revelation establishes Sita and Durga as twin sisters who share extraordinary combat abilities despite leading completely different lives.

Ruhi Is Still Missing from the SpyVerse

The film’s biggest surprise is that Sharvari’s character has no connection to Ruhi, the long-rumoured character linked to Kabir Dhaliwal.

This means Ruhi has yet to make her official debut in the YRF Spy Universe, leaving the door open for a future standalone film or another major franchise entry.

A Bigger Future for Alpha’s Heroes

With Sita and Durga now established, the YRF Spy Universe gains two new protagonists who are expected to join franchise icons like Tiger (Salman Khan), Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan), and Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) in future crossover stories.

Unlike previous entries focused primarily on undercover espionage, Alpha leans more toward a military action thriller. Alia Bhatt and Sharvari portray highly trained soldiers rather than traditional spies, giving the franchise a fresh direction while expanding its growing universe.

The film also strengthens Anil Kapoor’s presence in the franchise following his introduction in War 2, laying the foundation for larger interconnected stories in the years ahead.
