Actor Alia Bhatt may be gearing up to play a fierce spy in her upcoming film Alpha, but in real life, she says she is far from being the one in charge at home. In a lighthearted and candid moment, the actor revealed that neither she nor her husband Ranbir Kapoor holds the title of ‘boss’ in their household.
Speaking during an interaction with YouTuber MyMissAnand, Alia was asked a playful question — whether she was the ‘Alpha’ at home and Ranbir the ‘Animal’, referencing her upcoming project and Ranbir’s blockbuster film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Her response was instant and unexpected.
“Raha!” she said with a laugh, revealing that it is their three-year-old daughter Raha Kapoor who truly calls the shots at home.
Alia went on to share adorable insights into her daughter’s personality, joking that “Raha is the actual Animal and Alpha at home… she is the Gen Alpha.” The actor added that she often receives “compliments” from her little one, something she clearly cherishes.

Sharing a sweet anecdote, Alia recalled a moment when she decided to dress casually at home. However, Raha had other ideas.
“One day, I wore jeans and sat at home. She asked, ‘Where are you going?’… she said, ‘No, you don’t sit like this,’” Alia revealed, highlighting how her daughter already has a strong sense of opinion.
The actor has previously spoken about Raha’s growing personality, describing her as expressive and “filmy.” At a recent event, Alia shared that her daughter shows interest in multiple activities, from sports to music and dance.
“She’s a leader and a thinker in her own way,” Alia said, adding that Raha quickly picks up dance steps and enjoys engaging in creative pursuits.
The candid revelations have struck a chord with fans, offering a relatable glimpse into the everyday life of one of Bollywood’s most loved couples.
