The Vvaan Box Office Collection Day 5: Sidharth Malhotra film stays steady, India gross reaches Rs 48.50 crore

Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia-starrer The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is continuing its run at the box office after completing its opening weekend.

The Hindi fantasy thriller, which arrived in theatres on September 25, 2026, has maintained its momentum into the weekdays, although collections have understandably cooled after the weekend surge.

According to early data reported by TrackTollywood, the film has collected Rs 4.39 crore gross on Day 5 so far, taking its reported India gross collection to Rs 48.50 crore.

However, the final Day 5 numbers are still awaited, meaning the figure could change once complete box-office data becomes available.

The Vvaan Day 5 collection and occupancy

As per TrackTollywood’s early figures, The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest earned approximately Rs 4.39 crore gross on its fifth day from 6,123 shows.

The film recorded an overall occupancy of around 23%.

Its Day 5 performance comes after the film witnessed its strongest collections during the weekend before experiencing a weekday decline.

The Vvaan’s five-day box office journey

The film reportedly opened with Rs 8.84 crore on Day 1 before gaining momentum on its first Saturday.

Collections climbed to Rs 12.82 crore on Day 2, followed by the film’s biggest day so far on Day 3, when it brought in Rs 16.67 crore.

The numbers then dropped to Rs 5.78 crore on Day 4.

Its early Day 5 collection stands at Rs 4.39 crore, according to TrackTollywood, while the final figure is awaited.

Based on the same tracker, The Vvaan’s India gross has now reached Rs 48.50 crore.

Uttar Pradesh leads Day 5 collections

Among individual markets, Uttar Pradesh emerged as the strongest contributor to the film’s early Day 5 business, with a reported collection of Rs 64.94 lakh.

Maharashtra followed with Rs 60.43 lakh, while Bihar contributed around Rs 54.86 lakh.

The film reportedly collected Rs 48.06 lakh in Delhi and Rs 31.56 lakh in Jharkhand.

Other markets included West Bengal at Rs 28.95 lakh, Gujarat at Rs 25.49 lakh, Rajasthan at Rs 22.11 lakh, Haryana at Rs 20.68 lakh, and Madhya Pradesh at Rs 14.87 lakh.

These remain early figures and could be revised when final numbers are reported.

What is The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest about?

The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest is a Hindi fantasy thriller that blends Indian folklore, mythology, supernatural themes, fantasy and action.

The film is set against the forests of Central India and draws inspiration from stories associated with the Van Devi Temple near Bihta, Patna.

At the centre of the story is Rishi Kumar, played by Sidharth Malhotra, who returns to his ancestral village in Bihar with plans to sell his land.

Despite warnings surrounding Vandevi, Rishi ventures into a forbidden forest, where he encounters a mysterious supernatural force. What begins as a return to his roots soon pulls him into a dangerous conflict in which he must fight to protect his people.

Sidharth Malhotra plays Rishi Kumar/Veer, while Tamannaah Bhatia appears as Mamta Kumar.

The ensemble cast also includes Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari, Maniesh Paul, Anup Soni, Milind Gunaji, Avtar Gill and Durgesh Kumar.

The film marks the feature directorial debut of Deepak Kumar Mishra and has been written by Arunabh Kumar and Janvi Gill.

It is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Sandeep Sinha under Balaji Motion Pictures and TVF Motion Pictures.

The soundtrack brings together composers Tanishk Bagchi, Vishal Mishra and Amit Trivedi.

Initially announced in 2024, The Vvaan went through multiple changes to its release schedule before finally hitting theatres on September 25, 2026.

With its reported India gross now at Rs 48.50 crore, attention will turn to how the film performs through the remainder of its first working week and whether it can maintain its hold after the initial weekend boost.
