‘There was never Rs 400 crore alimony’: Sussanne Khan’s sister Farah Khan Ali shuts down viral claims about Hrithik Roshan divorce
Farah Khan Ali calls the long-standing rumours ‘completely false’, says Sussanne Khan never accepted alimony and continues to share a warm bond with Hrithik Roshan and the Roshan family.
More than a decade after Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan ended their marriage, rumours surrounding their divorce settlement continue to circulate online. Now, Farah Khan Ali, Sussanne’s sister, has strongly denied reports claiming that Sussanne received Rs 400 crore as alimony, calling the speculation entirely baseless.
In a recent interview, Farah addressed the persistent rumours, saying she was deeply disturbed by the misinformation that continues to spread across social media and online platforms.
According to Farah, the widely shared claim that Sussanne became significantly wealthier after receiving a massive divorce settlement is simply untrue. She stressed that her sister never accepted such an amount and said their family has always valued relationships over material possessions.
Farah also dismissed the label of “gold-digger”, describing Sussanne as an elegant and dignified individual who handled one of the most challenging phases of her life with grace.
She revealed that Sussanne’s decision not to seek financial compensation helped preserve the mutual respect between the former couple and their families. Even years after the divorce, Sussanne reportedly continues to enjoy a close relationship with Hrithik Roshan, as well as his parents, Rakesh Roshan and Pinkie Roshan.
Reflecting on the time when the couple announced their separation, Farah admitted that the news came as a shock to those around them. The divorce sparked widespread discussion, with many people expressing strong opinions about their personal lives.
However, she praised both Hrithik and Sussanne for handling the separation in a mature and respectful manner, describing it as an amicable decision despite the public attention it received.
Farah also shared that she once encouraged Sussanne to publicly deny the false reports, but her sister chose not to respond. According to Farah, Sussanne believed that public opinion should not define her life and preferred to focus on what truly mattered instead of reacting to speculation.
Speaking about the couple’s marriage, Farah recalled that Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan were deeply in love when they tied the knot in 2000, shortly after the actor became an overnight sensation with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. Although there were suggestions that Hrithik should wait before marrying due to his soaring stardom, Farah said he was fully committed to marrying Sussanne.

Today, both have moved forward in their personal lives while maintaining a healthy co-parenting relationship for their sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan.
Sussanne Khan is currently in a relationship with Arslan Goni, while Hrithik Roshan is dating actress Saba Azad. Farah expressed happiness for both couples, saying it is important for people to find partners who bring them peace and happiness.

Interestingly, the extended families continue to maintain cordial ties. Hrithik, Saba, Sussanne and Arslan are frequently seen together at family gatherings, celebrations and vacations, reflecting a modern and respectful approach to life after divorce.
Actor Zayed Khan had also previously spoken about the former couple’s separation, stating that sometimes relationships simply are not meant to last and that moving on peacefully is often the healthiest choice, especially when children are involved.
Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan officially divorced in 2014, ending their 14-year marriage. Despite parting ways, they remain committed parents and have often been appreciated for setting an example of positive co-parenting and mutual respect.
