Rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh has postponed the teaser launch of his upcoming song Moonlight, citing the ongoing student protests across the country.

On July 21, Honey Singh took to Instagram to announce that the teaser, originally scheduled for release at 11 AM, would now be unveiled on July 24. The artist later explained that the decision was taken out of respect for the emotions of the country’s youth during the ongoing demonstrations.


‘Youth of India is immortal,’ says Honey Singh

In a series of Instagram Stories, Honey Singh shared a heartfelt message expressing solidarity with young people participating in the protests.

Referring to the “Youth of India” as “immortal,” the singer said he wanted to postpone the promotional release in view of the prevailing situation.

He also prayed to Lord Mahadev to give strength to the country’s youth and concluded his message with “Jai Hind.”

The announcement quickly drew attention on social media, with many users appreciating the gesture while others discussed the role of celebrities in responding to public issues.

Actors including Prakash Raj, Sonakshi Sinha, Shabana Azmi, Dia Mirza, and Sonu Sood have shared messages supporting students and calling for attention to their concerns.
