Vaibhav Sooryavanshi once again found himself under scrutiny after failing to capitalise on a promising start during the clash between India A cricket team and Afghanistan A cricket team.

The crucial tri-series fixture, held at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, was effectively a do-or-die contest for India A — making Sooryavanshi’s innings even more significant.
