Trisha Krishnan Breaks Silence After Udhayanidhi Stalin Row With Cryptic ‘Drama’ Post: ‘Go Make Some Money…’
Trisha Krishnan has returned to Instagram after staying away from the controversy surrounding alleged remarks by Udhayanidhi Stalin. Her cryptic posts about “drama” have now caught fans’ attention, although the actor did not directly name anyone.
Trisha Krishnan has made her first social media appearance after the controversy involving Udhayanidhi Stalin, and her choice of words has already sparked speculation among fans.
The actor returned to Instagram to celebrate her grandmother’s 98th birthday, but two cryptic posts shared on her Instagram Stories quickly became the bigger talking point.
One of the posts she reshared carried a pointed message: “Drama at this age is embarrassing … Go make some money and find peace.” Trisha did not mention any person or incident alongside the post.
However, given the timing of her return to social media, the message was widely interpreted by fans as a possible reaction to the controversy that erupted earlier this month.
Trisha’s cryptic Instagram posts grab attention
Trisha has generally avoided getting drawn into lengthy public exchanges over controversies, and this time was no different.
Rather than directly addressing the allegations surrounding the recent remarks, she shared the post about “drama” along with an emoji.
She also reshared another message that read: “What a privilege it is to be overwhelmed by a life you once prayed for.”
The second post had an evil-eye emoji, adding to the impression that Trisha was choosing to respond indirectly while focusing on her personal life.
Importantly, Trisha did not identify Udhayanidhi Stalin or anyone else in either post, so it cannot be confirmed that the messages were specifically aimed at the ongoing controversy.
Trisha celebrates grandmother’s 98th birthday
The actor’s Instagram comeback was primarily about a family celebration.
Trisha shared pictures from her grandmother’s 98th birthday, giving followers a glimpse of the intimate family gathering.
The photographs featured her mother and another family member or friend, along with Trisha’s pet Izzy.
Her grandmother appeared in a purple saree as family members gathered around her for the celebration. An almond cake decorated with golden candles was also seen in the pictures.
For Trisha, the posts offered a more personal glimpse of her life away from the spotlight and the controversy that had dominated entertainment and political discussions in Tamil Nadu.
What is the Udhayanidhi Stalin controversy?
The controversy reportedly began during a gathering linked to protests over the Cauvery water issue.
According to reports, when people in the crowd began chanting Trisha’s name, Udhayanidhi Stalin allegedly made a double-entendre remark. He later indicated that his comment was connected to the Cauvery water issue rather than being directed at an individual.
The remarks quickly spread across social media, triggering criticism and political reactions.
Udhayanidhi was subsequently detained and questioned by police for around an hour at Sengipatti Police Station in Thanjavur district.
The women’s wing of Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) later filed a complaint with Thanjavur Police, alleging that Udhayanidhi’s remarks targeted Trisha.
The DMK, however, maintained that his comments had been misrepresented and said they were about the functioning of the government rather than any particular individual.

Trisha stayed silent as controversy grew
What made Trisha’s latest posts particularly interesting was her decision to remain largely silent while the controversy unfolded.
The actor did not issue a detailed statement addressing the alleged remarks. Her mother, Uma Krishnan Ganapathy, also shared a cryptic message titled “Last one best one.”
The post encouraged people to focus on themselves, with advice including working out, taking care of their skin, staying hydrated, making money, being kind and “mind your business.”
While the posts have generated plenty of online discussion, neither Trisha nor her mother explicitly connected them to the Udhayanidhi controversy.
Fans speculate, but Trisha hasn’t named anyone

Trisha’s latest Instagram activity has once again demonstrated how quickly a cryptic social media post can become part of a larger public conversation.
Her decision not to name anyone has left fans interpreting the timing and wording of the posts for themselves.
For now, however, the only confirmed aspect is that Trisha has returned to Instagram after a period of silence and shared messages about personal peace, avoiding drama and appreciating the life one has built.
Whether the posts were connected to the recent controversy remains Trisha’s own decision to clarify or leave open to interpretation.
As the political and entertainment worlds continue to overlap around the controversy, her indirect response has added another layer to a story that began with the Cauvery water dispute but quickly became a major talking point on social media.
