Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan may have slowed down considerably at the box office, but the actor’s final cinematic outing continues to add to its lifetime collection.

Released in theatres on July 23, the H Vinoth directorial is now in its third week and has entered a noticeably quieter phase at the box office. Despite the drop in daily earnings, the film has managed to push its India net collection close to the Rs 194 crore mark.

According to live estimates from Sacnilk, Jana Nayagan was running across around 820 shows and had recorded approximately 10.1% occupancy, with around Rs 13 lakh in net earnings tracked so far.

The film’s overall morning occupancy was reported at approximately 11.08%.

With these numbers added, Jana Nayagan‘s India net collection has reached around Rs 193.18 crore, while its India gross collection stands at approximately Rs 225.04 crore.

Jana Nayagan Day 20: Tamil and Hindi versions

The Tamil version continues to account for the majority of the film’s domestic business.

According to the live tracking estimates, the Tamil version had collected around Rs 11 lakh from 556 shows.

The Hindi version, meanwhile, contributed approximately Rs 2 lakh from 264 shows.

The figures underline the film’s continued dependence on its Tamil-speaking audience as it moves deeper into its theatrical run.

Worldwide collection crosses Rs 318 crore

While domestic collections have slowed, Jana Nayagan has continued to receive support from overseas markets.

According to the trade estimates provided, the film’s overseas gross collection has reached around Rs 93.20 crore.

Combining the domestic and international business, the film’s worldwide gross currently stands at approximately Rs 318.09 crore.

That makes the worldwide figure one of the key milestones for Vijay’s final film as he prepares to move away from cinema and focus on his political career.

How Jana Nayagan performed in its first three weeks

Jana Nayagan enjoyed a much stronger start than its current weekday numbers suggest.

During its first week, the film reportedly collected more than Rs 153.55 crore in India.

The second week saw a significant slowdown, with collections estimated at around Rs 31.60 crore.

The third week has followed the same downward trend, although the film did manage to register a modest weekend boost.

Its reported third-week figures include:

• Friday: Rs 1 crore
• Saturday: Rs 2.55 crore
• Sunday: Rs 3.60 crore
• Monday: Rs 75 lakh

The weekend growth suggests that the film continues to attract some audiences despite entering the latter stages of its theatrical journey.

However, weekday collections have now dropped sharply, making the film’s final lifetime total increasingly dependent on how long theatres continue to retain shows.
