‘MBBS Exams Came First’: Sreeleela reveals how she juggled medicine and movies while shooting viral vayyari
On National Doctor’s Day, actress Sreeleela opened up about balancing her dream of becoming a doctor with her rising film career, calling medicine her “biggest passion.”
Actress Sreeleela has impressed audiences not just with her energetic performances on screen, but also with her dedication off-screen. On the occasion of National Doctor’s Day, the actress shared how she managed to balance her demanding acting career while pursuing her MBBS degree.
In a candid reflection, Sreeleela revealed that medicine has always been her biggest dream and passion, and she never allowed her growing film commitments to come in the way of her education.
Speaking about that challenging phase, the actress recalled shooting for the energetic song Viral Vayyari while simultaneously preparing for her medical exams.
She shared that despite hectic shoot schedules, she ensured her studies remained her top priority.
According to Sreeleela, there were days when she would wrap up shooting, rush straight to attend her practical sessions, and then return to the set whenever time allowed. The actress admitted it was exhausting, but she remained committed because medicine meant too much to her to be compromised.

Her determination has won praise from fans, especially as balancing two highly demanding professions is no easy feat.
The song Viral Vayyari is part of the Telugu romantic entertainer Junior, where Sreeleela stars alongside Kireeti Reddy. The track was composed by renowned music director Devi Sri Prasad and gained attention for its lively visuals and energetic choreography.

Directed by Radha Krishna Reddy and produced by Sai Korrapati under Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, Junior was released in July 2025 in Telugu and Kannada.
The film also featured Genelia D’Souza and V. Ravichandran in important roles.
On the professional front, Sreeleela has a busy slate ahead. She is set to appear in Ustaad Bhagat Singh, the Tamil drama Parasakthi, and an upcoming Hindi romantic musical helmed by Anurag Basu, where she will star opposite Kartik Aaryan.
As her acting career continues to rise, Sreeleela’s journey stands out as a rare example of passion, discipline, and dedication proving that dreams in medicine and cinema can indeed go hand in hand.
