Gill’s aggressive approach saw him reach his 150 in just 108 balls, making it the third-fastest 150 by an Indian in ODI history.
He overtook Virender Sehwag, whose iconic 150 against the West Indies in 2011 came in 112 deliveries.
Only Ishan Kishan, with a 103-ball 150 against Bangladesh in 2022, and Virat Kohli, who reached the mark in 106 balls against Sri Lanka in 2023, have achieved the milestone quicker.
