Royal Enfield's limited-edition Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts sold out globally, with all 25 India-bound motorcycles booked within just three minutes.

Royal Enfield has announced that the Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts has officially sold out worldwide, with the entire Indian allocation disappearing in just three minutes after bookings opened.

Designed as a limited-edition collector’s motorcycle, the special model generated overwhelming demand from enthusiasts, highlighting the growing popularity of exclusive Royal Enfield collaborations.

Only 100 motorcycles built worldwide

The Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts was developed in collaboration with renowned Taiwanese custom motorcycle builder Winston Yeh, founder of Rough Crafts.

Production was strictly limited to 100 individually numbered motorcycles across the globe, making it one of Royal Enfield’s most exclusive releases.

Out of the total production, only 25 units were allotted to the Indian market. According to the company, all of them were booked within three minutes of the booking window opening.

Royal Enfield also revealed that more than 9,000 enthusiasts had registered their interest before bookings began, reflecting the strong demand for the limited-run motorcycle.

Inspired by custom motorcycle craftsmanship

While the motorcycle is based on the standard Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, the limited-edition version features several bespoke cosmetic enhancements inspired by Winston Yeh’s signature design language.

The bike comes finished in a striking combination of Gloss Jet Black and Matte Stealth Black, complemented by hand-applied gold-leaf pinstripes, grey detailing, and a cast brass Rough Crafts collaboration badge.

Each motorcycle also features an individually numbered fuel tank, adding to its exclusivity.

Premium styling touches

The special edition receives several visual upgrades over the standard model, including:

  • Black bar-end mirrors
  • Quilted leather seat
  • Contrast-cut alloy wheels
  • Gold-finished front fork tubes
  • Exclusive Rough Crafts-inspired graphics and detailing

Although these additions are purely cosmetic, they give the motorcycle a distinctive custom-built appearance aimed at collectors and enthusiasts.

Engine remains unchanged

Mechanically, the Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts remains identical to the standard Shotgun 650.

It is powered by Royal Enfield’s 648cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine, producing 47 hp and 52.3 Nm of peak torque.

The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, offering the same performance and riding characteristics as the regular production model.

A collector’s motorcycle with overwhelming demand

The rapid sell-out demonstrates the strong appeal of limited-edition motorcycles in India’s premium two-wheeler segment.

With just 100 examples produced worldwide and every unit already spoken for, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts is set to become one of the brand’s most sought-after collector motorcycles in recent years.
