Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited action-thriller Jana Nayagan continues to dominate the box office, delivering another strong day at theatres. After a record-breaking opening and a brief slowdown, the film bounced back over the weekend, bringing it closer to another significant milestone.

The steady rise in occupancy throughout the day indicates strong word-of-mouth and sustained audience interest, especially during peak evening hours.
Can Jana Nayagan enter the ₹150 crore club?
With ₹124.75 crore already collected in India, Jana Nayagan now requires only around ₹25 crore more to enter the prestigious ₹150 crore net club.
Given the film’s weekend momentum and the enthusiastic response from Thalapathy Vijay’s fan base, trade analysts believe the milestone could be achieved in the coming days if collections remain stable.

The performance during the weekdays will now be closely watched to determine whether the film can sustain its impressive run after the opening weekend.
A landmark film in Vijay’s career
Directed by H. Vinoth, Jana Nayagan is regarded as one of the most significant films in Thalapathy Vijay’s career as it is widely seen as his final acting venture before shifting his focus to full-time politics.
The story revolves around Vetri Kondan, a former police officer who takes it upon himself to train his foster daughter Viji, helping her overcome a painful past while preparing her to face life’s challenges.
The film boasts a star-studded cast featuring Bobby Deol as the antagonist John Himler, alongside Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Narain in pivotal roles.
With impressive collections both in India and overseas, Jana Nayagan has reaffirmed Thalapathy Vijay’s enduring box office dominance, and all eyes are now on whether the action-packed entertainer can cross the ₹150 crore domestic milestone in the coming days.
