‘Cocktail 2’ Hits ₹100 Crore in Just 6 Days But Can Shahid Kapoor’s Film Survive the ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ Storm?
Starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, Cocktail 2 has raced past the ₹100 crore mark worldwide, cementing itself as one of the fastest Bollywood hits of the season.
In a strong show at the box office, Cocktail 2, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, has crossed the coveted 100 crore mark worldwide within just six days of release.
Directed by Homi Adajania, the much-awaited romantic drama has now collected 102.76 crore gross globally, according to trade figures, making it one of the quickest Bollywood films this year to enter the elite 100-crore club.
The film maintained a steady pace on Day 6, collecting 5 crore net in India across 9,745 shows, taking its domestic gross total to 78.76 crore. Its total India net collection now stands at 66 crore, proving that audience interest remains strong even after the opening weekend rush.
Overseas too, the film continues to attract audiences, earning 1.25 crore on Wednesday alone and pushing its international tally to 24 crore gross.
What makes the film’s journey even more impressive is its consistency.
After opening with 13.5 crore on Day 1, Cocktail 2 saw significant growth over the weekend, collecting 16.25 crore on Saturday and 17.75 crore on Sunday. Even during the weekdays, it held its ground with 6.75 crore net on both Monday and Tuesday.

The momentum, however, is about to face its biggest test.
Starting Thursday evening, the film will face fresh box office competition from the multi-starrer comedy entertainer Welcome to the Jungle, which could affect its screen count and collections.

Released on June 19, Cocktail 2 arrives 14 years after the original Cocktail (2012), which starred Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, and Diana Penty and went on to become a cult favourite among Bollywood fans.
Unlike the original, which explored friendship, love, and betrayal through two contrasting female leads, the sequel takes a different emotional route, diving deeper into complicated relationships and modern romance.
With strong star power, steady collections, and decent word-of-mouth, Cocktail 2 has already cleared a major milestone. The big question now is whether it can maintain its pace and aim for the 150 crore mark in the coming days.
