Akshay Kumar recalled a funny incident where Chunky Panday cleverly used Salman Khan’s popularity during a show in South Africa.
Bollywood is full of interesting behind-the-scenes stories, but this one involving Salman Khan and Chunky Panday is as hilarious as it gets.
During an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, actor Akshay Kumar shared a funny anecdote about how Chunky once cleverly “took advantage” of Salman Khan’s superstardom during an overseas event.
According to Akshay, the incident took place during a stage show in South Africa, where Salman and Chunky were performing together. The event turned out to be a huge success, and as one of the organisers, Chunky decided to take Salman out shopping afterward.
What seemed like a generous gesture soon turned into a smart business move.
Akshay revealed that while they were inside a clothing store, Chunky encouraged Salman to pick out a few jeans and shirts. Salman happily selected what he liked, unaware of what was happening behind the scenes.
Soon, the shop owner approached Salman, requesting pictures with the superstar and his family. Salman, being his usual friendly self, obliged and posed for several photographs before leaving the store in a cheerful mood.
But the twist came days later.
