Avore EX electric motorcycle launched in India with up to 260 km range and three variants starting at ₹1.24 lakh.

India’s electric vehicle market has witnessed another major entry as Avore Electric has launched its first electric motorcycle lineup, the Avore EX series, bringing a combination of performance, technology and affordability for Indian riders.

The new lineup arrives with three variants — Avore EX1, Avore EX2 and Avore EX2S — targeting different categories of customers looking for an alternative to traditional petrol motorcycles. The starting price of the range has been announced at ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom) for the entry-level EX1, while the EX2 is positioned around ₹1,45,999 and the top-spec EX2S comes with a price tag of approximately ₹1,69,999 (ex-showroom).

The biggest talking point of the new electric motorcycle is its claimed 260 km range, a figure aimed at reducing one of the biggest concerns among EV buyers — range anxiety. The company says the EX series has been developed with an indigenous technology platform focusing on performance and connected mobility.

A New Challenger In India’s Electric Motorcycle Race

The arrival of Avore Electric adds another name to India’s rapidly expanding Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem. Unlike many electric scooters currently dominating the market, the company has entered with a motorcycle-focused product designed for riders who want a more traditional biking experience with modern electric technology.

The Gujarat-based EV startup, a brand of Samarth E-Mobility Pvt. Ltd., says the motorcycles have been developed with an emphasis on intelligent systems, battery efficiency and performance-oriented engineering.

Three Variants To Choose From

The company has introduced three models in the EX family:

Avore EX1 – The entry-level model designed for customers looking for an affordable electric motorcycle experience.

Avore EX2 – A mid-range variant offering additional features and performance upgrades.

Avore EX2S – The premium performance-focused version aimed at riders who want the highest specifications from the lineup.

Fast Charging And Smart Technology Take Centre Stage

One of the highlights of the Avore EX series is its charging capability. The motorcycle lineup comes with fast-charging support, with the company claiming that the battery can reach around 80% charge in nearly two hours under suitable conditions.

The motorcycles also focus on connected features, including smart systems designed to improve the overall riding experience. According to the company, the platform includes in-house developed vehicle systems and intelligent features that go beyond conventional electric two-wheelers.

Built To Compete In A Growing EV Market

India’s electric two-wheeler segment has been expanding rapidly as consumers look for lower running costs and cleaner mobility options. The entry of new players like Avore Electric indicates that competition in the electric motorcycle space is becoming stronger.

With its aggressive pricing, long claimed range and motorcycle-style design, the Avore EX series aims to attract customers who want an electric vehicle without moving away from the feel of a traditional bike.

The company’s latest launch shows that India’s EV revolution is no longer limited to scooters. Electric motorcycles are now becoming a key battleground where manufacturers are competing through range, technology and affordability.
