India’s electric scooter market is witnessing another major entry as Bengaluru-based E3 Electric.AI has launched its new E3 Trion electric scooter, aiming to combine everyday practicality with artificial intelligence-driven technology. Positioned as an affordable family electric vehicle, the scooter arrives with an introductory starting price of ₹1 lakh (ex-showroom) and will initially be available in Bengaluru.

The new E3 Trion has been introduced in three variants — C1, C1x and C2 — giving customers options based on their range and performance requirements. The base C1 variant starts at around ₹1 lakh, while the C1x is priced at ₹1,09,999 and the top-spec C2 carries a price tag of ₹1,19,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru).

According to E3 Electric.AI’s official website, the company is developing AI-powered modular electric scooters focused on safety, intelligence and accessibility for Indian commuters.

E3 Trion Battery and Range: Up to 165 Km on a Single Charge

The biggest highlight of the new electric scooter is its claimed riding range. The E3 Trion C1 comes with a removable 2.3 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed IDC range of 108 km and a top speed of 67 kmph.

The range-focused C1x variant gets a larger fixed 3 kWh battery, delivering a claimed IDC range of 165 km, making it the most suitable option for riders looking for fewer charging stops.

Meanwhile, the premium C2 variant also uses a 3 kWh battery but offers a claimed range of 128 km. It comes with a higher top speed of 82 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in approximately six seconds when Sport mode is activated.

AI Features Make E3 Trion Different From Traditional Scooters

The company is betting heavily on smart technology to differentiate the Trion from conventional electric scooters. The vehicle comes equipped with AI-based systems such as AI HealthScan diagnostics, which are designed to monitor vehicle health and identify possible issues before they become major problems.

Designed for Indian Roads With Practical Storage

The design of the E3 Trion focuses on stability and family usage. The scooter gets large 14-inch wheels, which the company claims provide better grip and confidence on both urban roads and uneven surfaces.

It also comes with IP67 weather protection, dual projector LED headlamps and rear LED lighting. For daily practicality, the scooter offers up to 52 litres of combined storage, including space under the seat, floorboard and glovebox.

E3 Electric’s Entry Into India’s Competitive EV Race

The launch comes at a time when India’s electric two-wheeler segment is becoming increasingly competitive, with manufacturers focusing on better battery technology, connected features and affordable pricing.

With the E3 Trion, E3 Electric.AI is attempting to position itself as a technology-driven player rather than just another electric scooter manufacturer. The startup has also highlighted its vision of creating intelligent mobility solutions designed specifically for Indian riding conditions.

The company will begin bookings through its official website in Bengaluru, with plans to expand availability to other Indian markets in the future.
