Actress Ananya Raj has died at the age of 27, her family has announced. Known for her work in Hindi and Telugu films, the actress reportedly passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 15.

Her family shared the news publicly a month later through a statement posted on Ananya’s official Instagram account on August 15. They said the actress had been dealing with physical and mental health difficulties for more than a year but continued to fight through them.

“This is Ananya’s family. With great pain, we have to announce that Ananya passed away in the wee hours of 15th July. She passed away peacefully in sleep,” the family said in the statement.

They added that she had been experiencing difficulties for over a year and described her as someone who “fought like a warrior” to overcome them.

The family did not provide further details about the nature of the difficulties she had been experiencing.
