Kriti Sanon and her family have reportedly sold four apartments in Mumbai's Andheri West for Rs 8.9 crore, earning significant returns on their long-term investment.

Records show that Geeta Sanon, Kriti’s mother, purchased two of the apartments in July 2013 for a combined value of approximately Rs 1.40 crore.

A few years later, in July 2017, Kriti Sanon and her sister Nupur Sanon acquired the remaining two units for a combined consideration of around Rs 2.90 crore.

This brought the family’s total investment in the four apartments to approximately Rs 4.31 crore.

With the latest sales generating nearly Rs 8.9 crore, the family earned an appreciation of around Rs 4.6 crore, effectively more than doubling the value of their investment.

A Return of More Than 100 Percent

The figures underline the power of long-term real estate ownership in premium urban markets.

Based on the reported purchase and sale values, the Sanon family recorded returns of approximately 107 percent over a holding period ranging from nine to thirteen years.

Such appreciation reflects the continued demand for quality residential properties in key Mumbai neighborhoods, where limited land availability and strong infrastructure continue to support property values.

For investors, the transaction serves as another example of how patience and location selection can significantly impact long-term returns.

Why Andheri West Remains a Real Estate Hotspot

The strong appreciation in the value of these apartments is closely linked to the growing popularity of Andheri West.

The locality has long been considered one of Mumbai’s most desirable residential and commercial hubs. It offers a combination of modern housing developments, entertainment districts, corporate offices, and lifestyle amenities.

Connectivity remains one of its biggest advantages.

Residents enjoy easy access to the Western Express Highway, Link Road, the Mumbai Suburban Railway Network, and the expanding Mumbai Metro system.

The area also benefits from its proximity to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, making it a preferred choice for professionals, entrepreneurs, and celebrities alike.

These factors have consistently supported demand in the locality and contributed to rising property prices over the years.

Celebrity Investments Continue to Attract Attention

Real estate transactions involving celebrities often generate public interest because they provide a glimpse into investment strategies beyond the entertainment industry.

Like many actors and public figures, Kriti Sanon has diversified her portfolio through property ownership, a move that has proven rewarding in this case.

While the actress continues to make headlines for her film projects and brand endorsements, the latest property sale demonstrates another side of financial planning—investing in high-potential real estate assets and holding them over the long term.

With Mumbai’s property market continuing to evolve, such transactions are likely to remain closely watched by investors and fans alike.

For the Sanon family, the sale marks the successful conclusion of a real estate investment journey that delivered impressive gains and showcased the value of investing in prime urban locations.
