Keeway Hypevolt-R Launched at ₹1.99 Lakh: 180km Range, 115kmph top speed and premium features steal the show

Keeway has expanded its electric mobility portfolio in India with the launch of the Hypevolt-R, a premium electric scooter designed for riders seeking both performance and advanced technology. The new model has been introduced at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹1.99 lakh.

Positioned in the premium electric two-wheeler segment, the Hypevolt-R combines a powerful electric motor, long claimed range and several rider assistance features to compete with high-end EV offerings in the Indian market.

Powerful Motor and Strong Performance

The Keeway Hypevolt-R is powered by a mid-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces 12kW of peak power.

According to the company, the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 115 kmph, making it one of the faster electric scooters currently available in its category.

Riders can choose between Eco, Normal, and Sport riding modes depending on their performance and efficiency requirements.

Claimed 180km Range

The scooter is equipped with two removable 5kWh battery packs, offering greater convenience for charging.

Keeway claims the Hypevolt-R delivers an IDC-certified range of up to 180 kilometres on a full charge.

Owners can either charge the batteries while they remain installed on the scooter or remove them for separate charging. The company says charging from 0 to 80% takes approximately three hours.
