Honda Elevate Facelift India Launch on October 6: New Look, Bigger Screen and 360-Degree Camera… What Else Could Change?

Honda Cars India is preparing to give its popular midsize SUV a significant refresh. The Honda Elevate facelift is set to launch in India on October 6, 2026, marking the SUV’s first major mid-cycle update since it entered the Indian market in 2023.

Rather than completely reinventing the Elevate, Honda is expected to focus on the areas that matter most in an increasingly competitive SUV segment styling, cabin technology and convenience features. The mechanical package, meanwhile, is expected to remain largely familiar.

A fresher face, but the Elevate identity stays

The facelifted Honda Elevate is expected to retain the SUV’s overall proportions and upright design while introducing several cosmetic changes.

At the front, a redesigned grille could be accompanied by revised LED lighting elements and a reworked bumper. Honda may also make subtle changes to the rear bumper and lighting signature.

Another noticeable update could come in the form of newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels, while fresh exterior colour choices may also join the range.

These changes are expected to give the Elevate a fresher appearance without dramatically altering the design that existing buyers are already familiar with.

Bigger screen and ventilated seats on the cards?

The cabin could be where buyers notice more meaningful changes.

While the basic dashboard architecture is expected to remain largely unchanged, the Elevate facelift could receive a new interior colour theme, revised seat upholstery and a larger infotainment touchscreen.

Among the most anticipated additions are ventilated front seats and a 360-degree camera. Such equipment would strengthen the Elevate’s feature list as it competes in one of India’s most closely fought SUV categories.

There are several other features that would make the updated Elevate even more competitive, although these have not been confirmed. These include a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, rear sunblinds, premium audio system and powered tailgate.

Whether Honda introduces all or only some of these features will become clearer at the official launch.

Will Honda change the engine?

A major mechanical overhaul appears unlikely.

The Honda Elevate facelift is expected to continue using the familiar 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine. Transmission choices are also likely to remain a 6-speed manual and CVT automatic.

Keeping the existing powertrain would allow Honda to concentrate the facelift on technology, comfort and styling rather than changing a proven engine-transmission combination.

However, there could be something more interesting waiting in the wings.

What about the Elevate Hybrid?

Alongside the facelift’s launch, Honda could reveal additional information about a potential Elevate Hybrid, although such a model is expected to arrive at a later stage rather than alongside the facelift immediately.

A hybrid version could significantly broaden the Elevate lineup, particularly as Indian buyers increasingly look at electrified petrol powertrains for improved efficiency.

For now, however, the petrol-powered facelift remains the immediate focus.

Will the Honda Elevate facelift become more expensive?

The current Honda Elevate range starts at around ₹11.80 lakh (ex-showroom). With additional equipment and styling upgrades expected, the facelift could command a modest premium over the outgoing model.

There is another possibility. The existing lineup begins with the SV variant, and if Honda restructures the variant range or introduces a new entry-level trim, the starting price could potentially move in the opposite direction.

The final pricing and complete variant-wise equipment list will be among the biggest details to watch when the Honda Elevate facelift officially launches in India on October 6.
