Bollywood actress Esha Deol is all set to explore a new genre with her upcoming film ‘Ghunghat’, a comedy-horror entertainer that promises a mix of spooky thrills and humour.

The actress, who is the daughter of veteran star Hema Malini, has earlier appeared in films with horror and suspense elements such as ‘Darling’ and ‘Kucch To Hai’. However, this will mark the first time Esha headlines a full-fledged horror-comedy project.

The project is being produced by Devesh Kumar under the banner of Native Cinemas, a Bengaluru-based production house. The makers are planning a wider reach for the film by releasing it in Hindi, Kannada and Telugu languages.
