ANKARA: US President Donald Trump on Wednesday delivered a stern warning to Iran, declaring that the United States is prepared to launch another round of military strikes after accusing Tehran of continuing hostile actions despite recent developments in the region.

Speaking during an appearance at the NATO Summit in Ankara, Turkey, Trump claimed that American forces had already carried out significant strikes and indicated that further action could follow within hours.

“We hit them very hard last night. Very, very hard. We’ll probably hit them hard again tonight. I’ll give them a little warning. We’re going to hit them hard tonight,” Trump said while addressing reporters.

The remarks come amid renewed tensions between Washington and Tehran after attacks on American military sites in the Gulf and growing concerns over regional security.

Trump Says Iran Is ‘Behaving Very Badly’

Trump expressed dissatisfaction with Iran’s recent actions, accusing the country of escalating the situation by launching drones and a missile at ships operating in the region.

According to the US President, Iran’s conduct has made it necessary for the United States to remain prepared for additional military operations if the situation deteriorates further.

He described Tehran’s actions as unacceptable and reiterated that Washington would respond strongly to any threats against American interests or its allies.

Ceasefire Claims Add to Rising Tensions

Earlier, Trump had declared that any understanding of a ceasefire was effectively “over,” suggesting that recent attacks had changed the situation on the ground.

His latest comments indicate that the US administration believes Iran continues to pose a serious security challenge, despite previous diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions.

The developments have once again raised concerns about the possibility of a wider conflict in the Middle East, with global leaders closely monitoring the rapidly evolving situation.

Global Attention on Middle East Crisis

Trump’s statement has drawn international attention as governments watch for Iran’s response and assess the potential impact on regional stability, energy markets, and global security.

While no immediate response from Iranian officials was available following Trump’s remarks, analysts believe the coming hours could prove crucial in determining whether the situation escalates further or returns to diplomatic channels.

The international community continues to urge restraint as fears of a broader confrontation remain high.
