‘He Was Shocked I Knew His Dialogues’: Dhamaal 4 Actress Anjali Anand Recalls Her First Meeting with Riteish Deshmukh

Mumbai: Actress Anjali Anand has shared a heartwarming behind-the-scenes memory from the sets of Dhamaal 4, revealing how her admiration for co-star Riteish Deshmukh turned their first meeting into an unforgettable moment.

Speaking about her experience, Anjali said she has always been a fan of Riteish’s films and surprised the actor by recalling several of his popular dialogues, something he never expected.

‘He couldn’t believe I remembered his dialogues’

Recalling their first interaction, Anjali said she openly expressed her admiration for Riteish and told him how much she enjoyed his performances over the years.

According to the actress, Riteish was pleasantly surprised when she began quoting dialogues from his earlier films.”When we met, I told him how crazy I am about all his films and dialogues. He was shocked that I knew so many of them,” Anjali shared.

She added that the moment instantly created a friendly atmosphere between the two actors.

A ‘Heyy Babyy’ dialogue became the perfect icebreaker

Anjali revealed that one of her favourite scenes from Heyy Babyy (2007) played a key role in breaking the ice.

She recalled mentioning a humorous dialogue from the film, which immediately made Riteish smile and eased the conversation.

The actress described the exchange as one of the funniest moments from her early days on the Dhamaal 4 set, saying it helped the two actors bond quickly.

‘Dhamaal 4’ brings back adventure comedy

Talking about the film, Anjali believes Dhamaal 4 stays true to the franchise’s signature blend of humour while introducing audiences to an even bigger adventure.

She said the film stands apart from recent comedy releases because it focuses on adventure comedy rather than horror-comedy or action-comedy.

According to Anjali, the film has been designed as wholesome family entertainment, allowing audiences of all ages to enjoy it together.

She also emphasised that Dhamaal 4 avoids vulgar humour, making it suitable for children as well as adults.

Star-studded cast and release date

Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 is the fourth instalment in one of Bollywood’s most successful comedy franchises.

The film features a massive ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Upendra Limaye, Anjali Anand, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Esha Gupta, and Vijay Patkar.

In the upcoming film, Anjali Anand stars opposite Riteish Deshmukh.

The much-awaited comedy entertainer is scheduled to hit theatres on July 10, 2026, and aims to revive the franchise’s trademark mix of laughter, chaos and family-friendly adventure.
