The flagship smartphone race is heating up, and Vivo has added another powerful contender to its X300 series. The company has launched the new Vivo X300 E in China, bringing a combination of high-end hardware, a massive battery and a camera setup designed to appeal to photography enthusiasts.

The latest smartphone arrives with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display and a huge 7,200mAh battery. Vivo has also equipped the handset with a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera system, including a dedicated telephoto sensor.

For now, the Vivo X300 E has been introduced in China, where it is available for pre-order ahead of its official sale. There is no confirmed information yet about an India launch.

Vivo X300 E price in China

The Vivo X300 E starts at CNY 4,799, which is approximately ₹68,000 based on the provided conversion, for the variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The higher-end model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 5,299, equivalent to roughly ₹75,000.

The smartphone will officially go on sale in China on July 31 through Vivo’s online store.

Vivo is offering the X300 E in three colour options, listed in translated names as Chen Yehei, Moonlight White and Sunlight Orange.

The pricing places the X300 E firmly in the premium category, with the company attempting to combine flagship performance with a battery capacity that is considerably larger than what is commonly seen on many high-end smartphones.

144Hz AMOLED display with 5,000 nits brightness

On the front, the Vivo X300 E features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,260 x 2,750 pixels.

The screen supports an impressive 144Hz refresh rate, which should deliver smoother animations and scrolling, particularly in compatible games and applications.

Vivo claims the display can reach a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. It also supports a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut, HDR content and displays up to 1.07 billion colours.

The screen-to-body ratio is rated at 94.7 per cent, giving the phone a modern, immersive appearance.

For added durability, the smartphone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, according to Vivo. These ratings indicate a strong focus on protection against dust and water exposure.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 powers the Vivo X300 E

Performance is one of the biggest highlights of the new smartphone.

The Vivo X300 E is powered by Qualcomm’s 3nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The processor configuration includes six efficiency cores clocked at up to 3.32GHz and two performance cores capable of reaching 3.80GHz.

Graphics are handled by the Adreno 820 GPU.

The phone comes with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, while internal storage goes up to 512GB using UFS 4.1 technology.

For security, Vivo has included an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, along with face unlock.

Vivo has continued its partnership with Zeiss for the camera system on the X300 E.

The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with autofocus and optical image stabilisation.

The main camera is joined by a 50-megapixel telephoto camera capable of offering up to 100x digital zoom.

An 8-megapixel ultrawide camera completes the rear setup.

On the front, the phone gets a 50-megapixel selfie camera, giving users a high-resolution option for selfies and video calls.
