Tabu to Play a Powerful Villain in Nagarjuna’s ‘King100’? Duo Set to Reunite After 28 Years
Reports suggest Tabu will take on a rare antagonist role in Nagarjuna’s landmark 100th film, marking their much-awaited on-screen reunion nearly three decades after ‘Ninne Pelladata’.
Veteran actress Tabu is reportedly set to surprise audiences with a powerful negative role in Nagarjuna Akkineni’s upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘King100’. If the reports are accurate, the film will also mark the iconic duo’s reunion on the big screen after nearly 28 years, making it one of the most anticipated Telugu projects in development.
The film is being directed by RA Karthik and is backed by Annapurna Studios.
Tabu to Play the Main Antagonist?
According to media reports, Tabu has been cast as the film’s primary antagonist.
The actress, known for her versatile performances across Hindi and South Indian cinema, has rarely portrayed full-fledged villainous characters. If confirmed, ‘King100’ will showcase her in a completely different avatar, adding another intriguing dimension to the project.
However, the filmmakers are yet to officially confirm details about her character.
First Schedule Wrapped Up
The production of ‘King100’ is progressing steadily, with the makers recently completing the film’s first shooting schedule.
Although the team has remained tight-lipped about the storyline and supporting cast, the project has already generated significant buzz among fans.
Interestingly, the film has also been linked with the title ‘Asurudu’, though no official announcement has been made regarding its final name.

Tabu Shares Update from the Sets
Recently, Tabu offered fans a glimpse from the film’s shoot by sharing several photographs from the sets on Instagram.
The actress posted selfies and behind-the-scenes moments with the crew, celebrating the completion of the first schedule.
She captioned the post:“End of Sched 1 #king100 #telugutravails.”
The update was warmly received by fans, who expressed excitement over her reunion with Nagarjuna.
A Reunion Fans Have Waited Decades For

Nagarjuna and Tabu have previously shared remarkable on-screen chemistry in several Telugu films.
The pair first starred together in the 1996 romantic drama ‘Ninne Pelladata’, which became both a critical and commercial success.
They later collaborated in ‘Sisindri’ and ‘Aavida Maa Aavide’, but have not appeared together in a film for nearly three decades.
Their reunion in ‘King100’ has therefore become one of the biggest talking points surrounding the project.
What’s Next for Tabu?
Tabu was last seen in ‘Bhooth Bangla’, alongside Akshay Kumar, in director Priyadarshan’s horror-comedy entertainer.
Meanwhile, fans are now eagerly awaiting an official announcement from the makers of ‘King100’, including confirmation of the film’s title, storyline, and Tabu’s much-discussed role.
