Alia Bhatt’s Sweet Birthday Wish for Sharvari Wins Hearts Amid ‘Alpha’ Buzz

It turned into a double celebration for rising Bollywood star Sharvari this week. Fresh off the theatrical release of her latest film Main Vaapas Aaunga, the actor received a warm and heartfelt birthday wish from none other than her upcoming Alpha co-star Alia Bhatt.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Alia reshared a video of Sharvari playing the song Maskara from Main Vaapas Aaunga on the piano. Alongside the clip, the actress penned a sweet note that quickly caught fans’ attention online.

“Happy birthday star. Wishing you all the joy in the world and more,” Alia wrote.

The interaction between the two actresses has further fueled excitement around Alpha, the first female-led film in the hugely successful YRF Spy Universe. Directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra, the action thriller is expected to bring a fresh dynamic to Bollywood’s spy-action genre.

The film stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in lead roles, while actors Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor also play pivotal characters. Ever since the teaser dropped earlier this month, anticipation surrounding the project has steadily grown among moviegoers.

Interestingly, Sharvari had previously spoken about Alia’s encouraging and supportive nature during an interview with Screen. Recalling a personal message she received from Alia after Main Vaapas Aaunga was announced, the actress shared how meaningful the gesture was during an important phase of her career.

“She is a real cheerleader,” Sharvari had said.

According to the actress, Alia congratulated her for collaborating with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali at an early stage in her journey and told her that working with the acclaimed director would help her discover herself as an artist.

“At that time, I didn’t fully understand what she meant. But now I do,” Sharvari explained.

Released on June 12, Main Vaapas Aaunga has already sparked conversations for its emotionally layered storytelling set against the backdrop of the Partition era. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film features an ensemble cast including Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari in important roles.

Meanwhile, all eyes are now shifting toward Alpha, which promises to push boundaries for women-led action films in Indian cinema. The teaser introduced Alia Bhatt as a fierce assassin trained for deadly missions under the influence of Bobby Deol’s mysterious character.

The makers have described the project as a large-scale action entertainer designed to celebrate “the Alpha attitude” through two powerful female protagonists.

While Sharvari’s character has not yet been fully unveiled, fans are already eager to see the chemistry between the two actresses on the big screen.
