South Indian actor Trisha Krishnan has publicly called out popular clothing brand Zara after a disappointing shopping experience, accusing the company of repeatedly delivering clothes with an unpleasant smell.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the actor expressed her frustration and did not hold back while addressing the issue directly to the global apparel brand.

According to Trisha, this was not a one-time incident.

The actor claimed that for the third time in a row, she received clothes through home delivery that allegedly smelled strongly of body odour.

Clearly upset, Trisha described the experience as “pretty darn disgusting” and urged the brand to be more careful before dispatching customer orders.

In her post, she wrote, “Just a humble request. Please make sure your clothes don’t reek of body odour the next time we’re placing home deliveries. 3rd time in a row. And pretty darn disgusting. Smell it before you pack it at least.”

Her post quickly grabbed attention online, with many social media users sharing similar experiences and reacting to her public criticism of the brand.

The incident has sparked fresh conversations around quality control and customer experience in online fashion deliveries, especially for premium global brands.

While Zara has not yet responded publicly to Trisha’s complaint, the actor’s candid post has already become a talking point among fans.

Personal life in the spotlight

Apart from her viral complaint, Trisha recently made headlines for her heartfelt birthday post for her rumoured beau, actor-politician Vijay.

Sharing a special moment from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s birthday celebration, Trisha posted a warm picture of the two together and wrote, “To the person who makes it all worth it, HBD.”

The post further fueled speculation about their relationship, which has remained a topic of fan curiosity for some time.

What’s next for Trisha?

On the professional front, Trisha was recently seen in ‘Karuppu’, where she starred opposite Suriya.

Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film featured an ensemble cast including Indrans, Natty, Swasika, Sshivadha, Anagha Maya Ravi, and Supreeth Reddy.

Despite generating buzz ahead of release, the film received mixed reviews from critics and audiences.

For now, however, it is Trisha’s blunt callout to Zara that has everyone talking.
