Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge showcased in ultra-slim design — now available at a massive ₹50,000 discount on Flipkart, reshaping flagship pricing in India.

The premium smartphone segment in India has just witnessed a dramatic shake-up.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, which launched as one of Samsung’s most expensive and design-focused flagships, is now available at its lowest-ever price on Flipkart.

What originally debuted at well over ₹1 lakh has now dropped to ₹59,999 for the 256GB variant. The higher 512GB model is priced at ₹71,999, marking a straight price reduction of nearly ₹50,000.

For buyers who had dismissed the device earlier due to its premium pricing, this revision completely changes the equation.

Extra Bank Discounts Make It Even Cheaper

Adding further value to the deal, Flipkart is offering an additional ₹3,000 instant discount for users purchasing the device via Flipkart Axis Bank credit card, effectively bringing the price down even further.

With multiple offers stacked together, the Galaxy S25 Edge is no longer sitting in the ultra-premium segment—it is now directly competing with upper mid-range and so-called “affordable flagship” smartphones.

The Slimmest Galaxy Flagship Ever Built

At launch, the Galaxy S25 Edge gained attention for one standout feature: its ultra-slim design.

Measuring just 5.8mm thickness and weighing approximately 163 grams, it remains one of the thinnest flagship smartphones ever produced in the Galaxy S series.

Samsung positioned the device for users who wanted flagship performance without the bulk, a category that is still relatively niche in the smartphone market.

Despite its slim profile, Samsung did not significantly compromise on performance.

The Galaxy S25 Edge features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering sharp visuals and smooth scrolling. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, paired with 12GB RAM, ensuring top-tier performance across gaming, multitasking and productivity.

Camera performance is another major highlight. The phone includes a 200MP primary sensor supported by a 12MP ultra-wide lens, while the front houses a 12MP selfie camera designed for both video calls and social media content.

From Luxury Flagship to Value Flagship Overnight

With this massive price cut, the Galaxy S25 Edge has effectively shifted its identity in the Indian market.

Earlier positioned as a luxury device competing with ultra-premium smartphones above ₹1 lakh, it is now entering a space dominated by competitive devices in the ₹50,000–₹70,000 range.

This sudden repositioning could attract a completely new audience—buyers who were previously interested in devices from brands like Apple, OnePlus, and Xiaomi, but were hesitant due to pricing.

Should You Consider It Now?

For users who prioritise design, premium build quality, and flagship-grade performance, the S25 Edge suddenly looks like a much stronger value proposition.

However, experts often caution that such steep discounts may also be part of inventory clearance strategies or limited-time offers, meaning buyers may need to act quickly.

Either way, the price drop has undeniably reshaped the conversation around Samsung’s ultra-slim flagship.

What was once a luxury purchase has now become one of the most aggressively priced flagship deals currently available in India.
