Redmi K100 Pro Max Leaked Ahead of July 31 Launch: Design, 185Hz Display, Bose Branding & Expected Specs
A leaked promotional image of the Redmi K100 Pro Max hints at a redesigned camera module, premium red finish, and 'Sound by Bose' branding ahead of its expected July 31 launch.

Redmi appears to be gearing up for one of its biggest smartphone launches of the year, and a fresh leak has given fans an early glimpse of what could be the Redmi K100 Pro Max. Just days before its expected unveiling at ChinaJoy 2026 on July 31, a promotional render believed to be official has surfaced online, revealing several design changes and hinting at premium hardware.

The leaked image, shared by well-known tipster @TechHome100 on X, showcases the smartphone in a striking red finish while highlighting what appears to be a redesigned camera layout and new branding on the rear panel.

Although Redmi has yet to officially confirm these details, the leak aligns closely with the company’s own teaser campaign.

Leaked Render Reveals Fresh Look

According to the leaked promotional image, the Redmi K100 Pro Max could feature a cleaner and more refined design than its predecessor.

Some of the key highlights visible in the render include:

  • Flat-edge display design
  • Newly designed rectangular rear camera module
  • Volume and power buttons placed on the right side
  • Premium red colour option
  • “Sound by Bose” branding on the rear panel
  • Rumoured 185Hz display refresh rate

The addition of Bose branding has particularly caught the attention of smartphone enthusiasts, suggesting that Redmi may be placing a stronger focus on the audio experience with its next flagship device.

However, none of these details have been officially confirmed by the company.

Redmi’s Own Teaser Builds More Excitement

Adding to the speculation, Redmi recently shared a teaser on Weibo ahead of the ChinaJoy 2026 event.

The teaser offers only a partial glimpse of the smartphone’s rear panel but cleverly hides the silhouettes of three smartphones arranged to resemble the number “100”—widely interpreted as a reference to the upcoming K100 series.

The teaser also appears to confirm that the camera module will sit in the upper-left corner of the rear panel, closely matching the design seen in the leaked render.

Interestingly, the overall styling bears similarities to last year’s Redmi K90 Pro Max, although the camera housing has been noticeably redesigned.

Three Models Expected in the Lineup

Industry reports suggest the Redmi K100 family will include three smartphones:

  • Redmi K100
  • Redmi K100 Pro
  • Redmi K100 Pro Max

This strategy mirrors Redmi’s previous flagship launches, offering buyers multiple performance and pricing options.

Geekbench Listing Hints at Flagship Performance

Earlier this week, one of the expected K100-series smartphones reportedly appeared on Geekbench.

According to the benchmark listing, the device featured:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor
  • 16GB RAM
  • Android 16

The listing did not specify whether the tested device was the standard K100, the Pro, or the Pro Max variant. As a result, these specifications should be treated as preliminary until Redmi officially confirms the hardware.

Official Launch Just Around the Corner

Redmi has already confirmed that it will introduce a new smartphone during the ChinaJoy 2026 event on July 31, although the company has stopped short of naming the device publicly.

With official teasers, benchmark appearances, and leaked promotional renders all surfacing within days of each other, anticipation surrounding the Redmi K100 series is steadily building.

Whether the rumoured 185Hz display, Bose-tuned audio, and flagship Snapdragon chipset all make it into the final product will become clear once Redmi takes the wraps off its latest smartphone later this week.
