Peddi Hindi OTT Release: Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Blockbuster Now Streaming on Netflix
After debuting in South Indian languages earlier this month, the Hindi version of Peddi has finally arrived on Netflix, bringing the blockbuster sports drama to a wider audience.
New Delhi: Fans of Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor can now watch the Hindi version of Peddi from the comfort of their homes. After initially streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on Netflix earlier this month, the much-awaited Hindi version officially premiered on the platform on July 30.
The announcement was made by Netflix India through its official social media channels, confirming that the film is now available for streaming in Hindi alongside its previously released regional language versions.
Netflix Confirms Hindi Release
Sharing the update on X (formerly Twitter), Netflix India wrote:“Intezaar khatam, Peddi ab Hindi mein bhi full form mein hai. Watch Peddi, on Netflix, out now in Hindi, also available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. #PeddiOnNetflix.”
The Hindi release comes weeks after the film made its digital debut in South Indian languages on July 9.
Story of Peddi
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi follows the journey of a talented cricketer who initially plays for any team willing to pay him.
His outlook on life changes after meeting Appalasuri, a determined villager who has spent years fighting to secure official recognition for a railway halt in his village.
Inspired by his mentor and guided by rigorous training, the protagonist transforms from a mercenary player into a committed sportsman willing to make sacrifices for a greater purpose.

Ram Charan’s Injury During Filming
During the film’s success celebrations, Chiranjeevi revealed that Ram Charan sustained a serious eye injury while filming Peddi.

According to Chiranjeevi, the actor required eight stitches after the accident. He shared that the injury could have been far more severe had it occurred slightly lower.
Despite the setback, Ram Charan continued working on the film, earning praise from his father for his dedication and commitment.
Chiranjeevi also spoke about his son’s intense preparation, revealing that the actor maintained a demanding routine that included early morning workouts, long shooting schedules, and additional training sessions after returning from the sets.
Strong Box Office Performance
Peddi enjoyed an impressive run at the global box office.
According to reported figures:
- Worldwide Gross Collection: ₹341.81 crore
- India Gross Collection: ₹288.91 crore
- Overseas Collection: ₹52.90 crore
With its successful theatrical run now followed by the Hindi OTT release, the film is expected to reach an even larger audience across India.
