Sharing the video on social media platform X, the makers revealed that the next phase of the franchise is already in motion.
The post read, “Before the storm arrives… there’s a moment of silence. The untold story of Gambheera is ready to unfold. Director Sujeeth and Pawan Kalyan Garu reunite under Pawan Kalyan Creative Works to expand the OG Universe saga.”
The announcement confirms that the makers are planning a larger cinematic universe around the character of Gambheera, one of the most celebrated action heroes in recent Telugu cinema.
Pawan Kalyan Had Earlier Teased Expansion Plans

Released to massive fanfare, They Call Him OG follows the journey of Ojas Gambheera, a former samurai who leaves Japan and rises through Mumbai’s dangerous criminal underworld.
After mysteriously disappearing for ten years, Gambheera returns to confront his past, settle unfinished scores, and face enemies who believed he was gone forever. The character’s mysterious backstory and larger-than-life screen presence helped the film build a loyal fan base.

Arjun Das also shared his admiration for Pawan Kalyan, affectionately calling him “Annaya,” and stated that he would gladly join the project whenever he is called upon.
