Directed by Pandiraaj, the film blends black comedy, family drama, and mystery thriller elements into a gripping yet entertaining storyline. The film has been praised for its unusual setup and humorous storytelling, making it a unique watch in Tamil cinema.

Interestingly, many viewers have drawn comparisons between the film’s suspense-driven family setup and Mohanlal’s iconic ‘Drishyam’, though with a much lighter and comedic approach.
Apart from Jayaram and Urvashi, the film features Sanjana Krishnamoorthy and Ananthika Sanilkumar as the couple’s daughters in pivotal roles. The ensemble cast also includes Mysskin, Yogi Babu, Sandy, and Santosh, adding more layers of humour and intrigue.

At the box office, the film opened on a decent note. According to trade reports, ‘Parimala And Co’ earned an estimated Rs 1.60 crore India net on its opening day, with its total India gross reaching approximately Rs 1.84 crore.
Critics have largely appreciated the chemistry between Jayaram and Urvashi, with many highlighting their natural screen presence and effortless comic timing. The supporting performances, especially by Mysskin and Yogi Babu, have also received positive feedback.
With its mix of suspense, laughter, and emotional family moments, ‘Parimala And Co’ could find a wider audience on OTT, especially among viewers looking for a light-hearted mystery entertainer.
