Industry reports suggest that the popular SUV is likely to receive a comprehensive facelift around July 2026, bringing a fresh design, a new turbocharged engine option, and several premium features that could make it more appealing to modern buyers.

For customers considering a compact SUV purchase in the coming months, the upcoming update could be worth waiting for, especially as the changes are expected to go far beyond a simple cosmetic makeover.

A New Turbo-Petrol Engine Could Be the Biggest Highlight

One of the most talked-about additions is an expected 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The new powertrain is likely to generate around 98.6 hp and 147.6 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
