Lucknow Weather Alert: Rain to Intensify From July 18-21… IMD Forecast Signals Active Monsoon Spell

Lucknow: Residents of Lucknow should prepare for a wet spell as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated an increase in monsoon activity between July 18 and July 21. The forecast suggests rainfall, thunderstorms and gusty winds across the city during the four-day period.

Following days of warm and humid weather, the state capital is expected to receive light to moderate rain, with isolated areas likely to witness heavy showers. The rainfall is expected to bring relief from high temperatures while improving overall weather conditions.

According to meteorological forecasts, July 18 and July 19 may begin with cloudy skies and intermittent showers. Rainfall activity is likely to become more widespread on July 20 and July 21, increasing the possibility of waterlogging in low-lying areas and slower traffic movement during peak hours.

The active Southwest Monsoon continues to influence weather across Uttar Pradesh, and Lucknow is expected to remain under its impact throughout the forecast period.
