Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin OTT Release Date Is Out… Here’s When and Where You Can Watch the Action Drama

After making its theatrical debut on July 10, Akhil Akkineni’s action drama Lenin is now gearing up for its digital release. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, the film received mixed reviews from critics and audiences but managed to perform well at the box office, giving Akhil a much-needed commercial success following the disappointing run of Agent.

Fans who missed the film in cinemas will soon be able to stream it from the comfort of their homes.

When and Where to Watch ‘Lenin’

The makers have officially announced that Lenin will begin streaming on ZEE5 from August 7.

Initially, the film will be available exclusively in Telugu, its original language. The OTT platform unveiled the release with a new promotional trailer carrying the tagline:“The roar begins. A story of love, revenge, and revolution is all set to take over your screens.”

Nagarjuna Promotes Son Akhil’s Film

Adding a personal touch to the OTT announcement, veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni released a special promotional video supporting his son Akhil Akkineni.

Encouraging audiences to watch the film, Nagarjuna said:“Don’t say we’re winning, we have won. If you’ve missed it in theatres, don’t miss it on ZEE5.”

The veteran actor also expressed gratitude to audiences for supporting the film, making the digital release even more special for the Akkineni family.

Strong Box Office Performance

Despite opening to mixed reviews, Lenin performed well commercially.

According to trade reports, the film has earned approximately:

• ₹67.09 crore worldwide gross
• ₹49.14 crore India net collection

The film has emerged as an important milestone in Akhil Akkineni’s career, helping him bounce back after the underwhelming performance of Agent.
