The Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) has expressed strong disappointment over what it calls “restrictive travel conditions” imposed by co-host nation United States during the tournament.
According to the reported arrangements, Iranian players will only be permitted to enter the United States one day before their match and will be required to leave the country on the same day after the game. This unusual restriction has raised serious concerns within the Iranian football camp, especially regarding recovery time, training flexibility, and overall match preparation.
